Now That's A Man!

Theres something really stunning about a man that allows space for a woman to be gentle.

There is no pressure to keep up or be enough. No unspoken general expectation of what she should be. No box he tries to put her in. Simply a cultivated environment of freedom to be feminine. That's a man that understands himself. That revels in his authenticity and masculinity. He knows what he brings to the table is enough. He is all that is man so she can freely be all that is woman. I respect that man more than any other. He knows what a womans heart really needs... a safe place to captivate and in fact BE captivating. And an opportunity to be at rest long enough to simply be lovely as she is.

What is so beautiful about this man is his ability to provide. He is confident enough to stand by and watch her fight her battles as she wishes. He trusts in her ability to war. But he can also clearly see when its time to take her sword and let her rest. So he provides the protection she requires to relax. He is firm in his convictions of who God is and who he is in God. He knows that same God is in her; she will stand in faith and keep her relationship with the Lord. But he provides a spiritual covering that gives her freedom to shine in her gifts that relationship gives. He is confident in his provision enough to let her work as she wants. He even finds her drive appealing. He knows he has everything she needs though. A man that can provide is a man that will be drawn to character and heart before anything else. And under his wing of protection is a place safe enough, warm enough for a woman to be authentically feminine and soft as shes meant to be.

In that place she will shine. Her beauty will become unmatched. She will be in the presence of a true warrior. He knows the fight is not in arms but in spirit. Hes well aware of, and well equipped for war. His presence creates such stability that she can run wild. She will exceed expectations, break down walls, and shatter glass ceilings. Because in that place she doesn't have to strive. She doesn't have to protect herself or keep up walls. Shes free, safe, cared for. She will truly blossom into the captivating creature God made her to be. In turn the gentle comfort she brings, will engulf the man shes connected to in the most beautiful way. It'll fuel him to take charge, explore more, and set him free to be what he was made for, adventure.

He will be the adventure she craves and she will inevitably be the rest he needs. It's a delicate, yet electric dance of masculine and feminine. Pulls of power, twists of love, each step collaborated and on que to the beat of life. They are one as they flow with the rythm. They are better together. That is how God made them after all. Their differences come together to form a clear and beautiful picture of the heart of God. And those contrasts can only become one when they each feel safe to be transparent and vulnerable. When they have room to grow and learn along the way. When they're free enough to be authentic.
